Day 1 – From Riohacha to Cabo de la Vela

8:30 AM – Departure from Riohacha

We started our journey to the High Guajira in 4×4 vehicle. We will pass by you directly in the hotel where they are staying, to begin the adventure through desert landscapes that we go into in the Wayuu culture.

Salinas de Manaure
Learn about the traditional process of extraction of salt in one of the scenarios that are more representative of the region.

Uribia – indigenous Capital
Brief stop to see the cultural capital of the people Wayuu and continue towards the Place.

1:00 PM – Lunch
We will enjoy a traditional dish with fresh fish on the shores of the sea.

Beach Rainbow
Coastal trail rock formations where the sun reflects multiple colors on the water.

Pilón de Azúcar
Ascent to this natural viewpoint from which you get one of the most spectacular views of the Caribbean guajiro.

End of the experience. Transfer to the hotel (in case you want to stay in Riohacha) or meeting point, ending an unforgettable day in the heart of la Guajira.
