This blog is a space created by Round Trip Travel SMR to share perspectives, insights, and experiences related to responsible tourism in Colombia. From our home regions in the northeastern part of the country, based in Santa Marta, we explore and gain a deeper understanding of the ecosystems, cultures, and communities that make Colombia such a deeply diverse country.

Here we talk about nature, the land, conservation, community-based tourism, and conscious travel. From the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta to La Guajira, from the dry forests to the Amazon and other regions of the country where we work hand in hand with local, rural, and indigenous communities.

This is not a blog about quick getaways or empty promises. It is a space for understanding travel as an experience of respect, learning, and connection with the places and the people who live there. We believe in tourism that informs, raises awareness, and brings real value to communities and ecosystems.
