3-Day Itinerary

Day 1 | First Encounter with the Jungle and the River

We recommend that you arrive in the morning at the Alfredo Vásquez Cobo International Airport, where your Amazonian adventure begins:

  • Arrival in Leticia and transfer to the activities
  • Visit to the Maikuchiga Foundation
  • Observation of various species of monkeys undergoing rehabilitation
  • Cruise on the Amazon River
  • Possible sightings of pink and gray dolphins in its natural habitat
  • Check-in at the lodging, followed by lunch no later than 2 p.m.
  • Nighttime jungle hike to discover insects, amphibians, and the sounds of the forest

🌙 First night in the Amazon, 10 p.m.

Day 2 | Ticuna Culture and River Ecosystems

The morning begins with breakfast at 7 a.m., and then we set out on a tour to visit to the indigenous community Macedonia, around 9 a.m.
The schedule of activities is as follows:
  • Cultural Encounter with the Ticuna People (Dances and Traditions)
  • Possible sighting of sloths in their natural habitat
  • Lunch in Puerto Nariño, Colombia, 1 p.m.
  • Observation of the Victoria Regia Plant
  • Transfer to Puerto Nariño (one of the most sustainable towns in the country)
  • Visit to the “natural nativity scene” (landscape interpretation)
  • Tour of Lake Tarapoto
  • Artisanal Fishing Experience

Around 5:30 p.m., we returned to camp for dinner, followed by a 2-hour night safari on the Amazon River.

Day 3 | Birds, Memory, and Knowledge

The morning marks the beginning of the day and is the perfect time to enjoy a walk birdwatching at 5 a.m..

The Visit to the Magütá Ethnographic Museum It is a cultural and heritage space, created in 2019 by Abel Antonio Santos in the Mocagua Indigenous Reservation in Amazonas. You’ll get an up-close look at the preservation efforts of the Magütá (Tikuna) people..

To confirm your spot on this trip, you must:

  • ✅ A second deposit ($625,000 COP) must be made 6 Days before the start date.

The third remaining deposit ($625,000) is due before the tour begins.

Cancellations:

  • The The advance payment of $110,000 COP and $625,000 is non-refundable, since it guarantees your spot with the local communities and handles the logistics in the area.
  • You can give up your spot to someone else giving advance notice.
  • In the event of date changes, these will be evaluated based on the local operator's availability.
