2-Day Itinerary for Norcasia

The following itinerary is suggested by the tour operator, There may be changes depending on weather or logistical conditions. during the trip.

We recommend arriving in Norcasia a day early, since the first day's itinerary starts very early (7:00 a.m.).

Day 1. Welcome to Norcasia: Waterfalls, Hiking Trails, and the La Miel River

The day begins with breakfast at 7:15 a.m., after which we head toward La Clara Waterfall along a trail that will take you 10 minutes to walk, and along the way we'll stop to learn about the bird species that live in this area.
At Cascada la Clara, you can enjoy a waterfall that is Crystal-clear waters, lush green vegetation, streams, and monkey species such as the gray-headed marmoset, which is endemic to the area, can be observed.
Next, we'll begin our motorized canoe trip upstream along La Miel River, surrounded by unique landscapes and emerald-colored waters, where you can enjoy activities such as 14-meter jumps, body rafting, and tubing through the entire La Miel River Canyon.
We'll stop to enjoy the Lunch (cold cuts) overlooking the waters of the La Miel River.
After lunch, we continued to enjoy the river: waterfalls, river rafting, and swimming in emerald-green waters.
As the afternoon draws to a close, we'll begin our return to the town area, where you'll enjoy a snacks and dinner at 7:30 p.m.

Day 2. Amaní Reservoir, Manso River, and Adventure in Crystal-Clear Waters

We had breakfast at 7:15 a.m. featuring local cuisine. Our adventure begins as we drive to the Manso River.
Before reaching the Manso River, we'll visit the Amaní Reservoir and we'll travel along its waters until we reach the wall of the Pantágoras Dam, this is the second-tallest dam in the world.
Swimming is not permitted in these waters, which is why we have arranged for Visit the two waterfalls that flow into these waters—an ancient and safe place where you can enjoy both bodies of water.
For lunch, we headed to the Monte Bello trail, where a local family will be our culinary hosts.
The afternoon includes a visit to the Donde Cuña Lookout, which lets you enjoy a A panoramic view of the reservoir and the lush green landscape of Norcasia.
The Manso River will be one of our last stops on today's tour: Jumping off a bridge, swimming, and walking underwater.
As the day draws to a close, we’ll take you back to Norcasia’s Main Square, where these two days of adventure and excitement will officially come to an end.
